Observer
NameMike S
Experience Level2/5
RemarksVery clear night approaching the Illinois border from Wisconsin. No city lights and clear night. Saw it out of my windshield while driving as soon as it was within sight at the top of my windshield. It turned from white/yellow to green to nothing to a quick blip of light then disappeared just above a neutral/even line of sight. Maybe 5 seconds total. The size of the ball was comparable to the brightest star you can see in the sky with a little more circumference.

RemarksIt started of white with a sparkling tail (the size of the tip of my pointer finger to the first knuckle), the ball turned green (I think the tail remained white/yellow), everything then disappeared for a split second and then a small white flash of light appeared (smaller than the original size of the ball) and lingered while dropping slowly. Then nothing.
