It seemed very close. I fish in this area often and always see aircraft fly in the area for takeoff/final approach to TPA airport. The meteorite seemed to be as close as some of the jets commonly seen. This was the closest one I've ever seen!

It broke into 3-4 pieces that were bright white/yellowish, but they went out almost immediately after fragmentation.
