Like I said - only seen through a gap in clouds, but was extremely bright and clearly visible for a second or two. Two witnesses. No sound. Have seen plenty of meteor showers before but never anything like this.

White trail. Like a shooting star but bigger and brighter. No smoke but view was partially obscured by clouds (seen through a break). Not sure if “terminal flash” - but saw white flash as it entered cloud cover.
