Remarks | I was driving in west direction of the highway. It was dark outside. The exact position I cannot tell because of the darkness, but I did my best mapping it here. I had my car radio going. The fireball was passing the front window of my car. Almost in a straight line. From right side of my window (north) to left side (south). Very very fast going fireball. It seemed very close to me, but it is so hard to estimate. I was very shocked. I felt it could have hit me. I took the next exit and called my son, who studies physics. That is how I know the time pretty exactly. I have often thougt about looking for the meteorit I believe must be somewhere in the fields south of the highway. |
