Reports Report 644a (Event 644-2023)

This report has been linked to the following event: Event 644-2023
Observer
NameElizabeth P
Experience Level2/5
RemarksI don't really know if it was a fireball or a meteor. I was driving and saw it appear as a small dot before streaking across the sky. My professor (Dr Fleming) said it was likely a meteor. I also saw it above a mountain range and wasn't actually cranking my neck when I spotted it. It was really far away as well. I learned that it was near the constellations Eridanus and Fornax, with the event happening through the lower part of the tail just above some mountains.
