RemarksWas on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas sitting out on my balcony that was on the port side of the ship as we were rounding the tip of Cuba. I was taking pictures of the clouds because the moon was so bright and was watching the lighthouse in the distance (I have those pictures and a picture of my Google Maps location because I wanted to remember where I was when I took the pictures). Even though I had my phone in my hand, I didn't get any photos of the meteor as it happened just too quickly. I was looking down at my phone reviewing the pictures I had just taken when a bright white light lit up not just my balcony but the entire side of the ship and the ocean around us; it was so MUCH brighter than the full moon. At the time I thought something had exploded so my head automatically snapped up just fast enough time to briefly catch it. It moved so slowly across the sky (it was a fairly short track) that I was kind of momentarily stunned. FYI, the ship is covered in cameras. They may still have video of it if you care to follow up.
