Remarks | I have seen small meteors before - the ones that appear the size of stars that flash across the sky. This was something else though - a fantastic, and wondrous sight that made me search up videos instantly once I had arrived.I found your site, and thought that reporting it may help me find out more about it. I hope someone in your network, or one of your cameras may have caught it. Either way I am elated over the fact that I got to see such a rare and magnificent sight. |

Observation | Yes |
Remarks | It became brighter as it streaked, ending in a very short, bright flare before quickly fading (not exploding. I am in the forces, I have seen many explosions. This was like a flare burning out.) |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | There were fragments falling at downward angles away from the streaking object, which became more numerous as it got brighter. |
