RemarksI saw it as a bright green streak traveling downwards at 45 degrees. I was inside my home in the living room watching TV when the bright light caught my attention. So my observation was briefly seeing it high in the sky and disappearing behind the houses to the rear of mine so I could get no idea of how far away it was. My first thought was it was some sort of fire work that might have gone a stray but it was too bright for that and the 45 degree straight downward trajectory seemed impossible for a failed fire work rocket. I went out into my garden to see if there were any others or if there were actually anyway fireworks works being let off. But there were no other similar phenomenon and no bangs, flashes or other noises. It didn't fit any previous man made light phenomenon that In have seen. So I thought it was worth reporting.
