Experience Level1/5
RemarksSitting playing cards and looked out toward the backyard. I saw a long trail of light that almost appeared to go straight down (slight angle) and quickly. I knew it wasn’t a shooting star because it was much bigger and brighter and slower. I stopped the game to tell my family what I had just seen. By the time they turned around it was gone down behind trees, buildings in our neighbourhood. Super cool! Until I saw the news today, I hadn’t given it another thought. I’m certain based on time of night and other sightings, that what I saw was the reported fireball.
