Remarks | the sound i heard i thought was thunder at first. i checked radar and seen there were no thunderstorms in vicinity. was partly cloudy with gusty winds out of the SW-WSW. I did not see any sort of streak of light from my location because of the clouds, but did hear the noise off in the distance. I could not at time figure what i heard, and when checked radar saw nothing as to indications it would have been thunder. I am an avid night sky gazer, so being during the daytime kinda let me to speculation that it could have been a meteor possibly. My instincts were correct once I seen the report posted by WTHR CH13 in Indianapolis IN |
