Remarks | I was indoors with the tv on at low volume when I saw the fireball, and I didn’t hear any sound at the time, but it could be possible that there was some faint noise that I missed. The timing of the event is an estimate on my part, but would say that it was a couple of minutes either side of 04:35 BST. I have no experience of observing the sky in any precise way, so the brightness and angle above the horizon that I’m reporting may be slightly off, but I do know that the direction I saw it and the other information I’ve included will be much more exact as there were several fixed visual landmarks in my POV, and I reported it initially very soon after the sighting via UK Meteor Network (Report 2125a, Event 2125-2022). |
