RemarksI have a BS in biology. Our family also uses a telescope to observe the night sky. I was totally blown away by the size, thickness, length and duration of the meteor. I'm 44 years old and I've never seen one like this! Amazing!

RemarksI saw it literally crack into smaller pieces before it burned out. This one was very unusual. It was very large and had a very long thick tail. It also was visible for a longer amount of time than any other I've ever seen.
