Remarks | I was finishing my chores in the dark when I saw this fireball. I was facing East. I saw it in a little lower than the middle of the horizon, and it looked like it fell into the horizon. I was talking to a friend on speaker on my cell phone at the time, so I know exactly when it happened, and she heard my exclamations about it. It had a little trail off to it. I am in the country where there isn't a lot of city lights, so I regularly star gaze. I thought it was a falling star or a meteorite fragment at first, but after doing some research, I believe that this was in fact a fireball. But I am not the astrologist. |
