This report has been linked to the following event: Event 7611-2021
Observer
NameJeanne P
Experience Level1/5
RemarksI posted about it on a local Facebook group and several people in a wide vicinity saw it as well. Sighted in Port Jervis, NY, Vernon, NJ and on Route 80 in Rockaway, NJ. Another person was on Route 287, exit 17 in NY. They described it similarly. We were all driving when we saw it, so was not all that high in the sky. At first I thought it was a plane but it was too fast and too big and bright. I'd love to hear from you what you think we saw.
