This report has been linked to the following event: Event 6872-2021
Observer
NameJames C
Experience Level3/5
RemarksFrom my view on earth sitting down, the fireball was as big as an adult finger pinky nail (biggest fireball I’ve ever seen in my life!) and it lasted in my field of view for 3-4 seconds. Amazing sight. It appeared it was possibly going to land (just my rough guess) near Dalton GA or Chattanooga TN and that’s just a rough guess.

ObservationYes
RemarksThe white ball that was falling left an immediate “orangish/fire” color behind it—following it and I could see pieces of orange/fire breaking away as the fireball was shooting across the sky. The fragmentation was rapid as far as seeing the fragments fall far away, it was very fast.
