I am colorblind so the color might be wrong. I did speak with a co-worker who saw it also and they saw white so i hope that white is correct.

The whole sky lit up like a lightning strike. It was a clear morning so i knew it wasn't lightning. I looked up and saw a long white trail with a white puff at the western end. It was not something we see every day so I thought i should report it.
