Remarks | This event will be on many home security systems from Southern to Central Indiana, I'm sure. My first thought was space junk, but from south to north? It was ongoing when I saw it in the east. I watched it until I couldn't see it any more which was straight north and at that point it looked like it was in several pieces. |

Remarks | About a minute or two after I saw it flame out, I heard a series of light booms (about 9 or 10 in 10 seconds.) I live next to an interstate so it could've been a truck but I didn't see any trucks around at the time. |

Remarks | It seemed as though there were pieces shedding off the main piece of whatever it was. Probably every couple seconds a larger, brighter piece would detach and get bright then slowly fade as it drifted down the tail of sparks from the main object. |
