RemarksThe whole sky lit up like a bolt of lightning may light up a clear sky. It caught my attention from my peripheral vision, as I thought it may be heat lightning. I looked up from my phone and saw the fireball streaking across the sky in a downward trajectory. It had a fairly long "fiery" trail that ended in a ball of white light. It went behind a tree in front of me (about 40 ft away) and then behind the tree line in front of me, about 300 ft or so away. I listened but didn't hear any sounds after it left my vision (nor did I hear any before or during the event).
