RemarksI was talking to my neighbor Tammy and was glancing West toward her mobile home when I noticed right over my forehead (straight up) a falling star...but then it flared into this bright yellow orange (more yellow-whitish) blast about over 1 inch wide (like a sword) and raced in an arc over the ocean. The hill on the west side of our valley stopped my viewing. I am 73 and that was a first...nothing like that. Incredibly fast and awesome...We didn't hear a sonic boom nor did we feel any vibrations. A couple of months ago you had a map showing Williams Ca. on I-5...we sre directly west and it seems this thing would have gone over them first. We are about 30 miles from the Pacific and when I saw the falling star it would have been past the Ca. coastline. Tammy was looking at me and didn't see it. But, shesure heard me.
