It looked incredibly far away. It very well could have landed in Georgia. I was facing relatively south when I saw it. I expected it to burn up but it just kept coming

It left short intermittent glowing streaks across the sky as it appeared to plummet towards the earth. We lost sight of it behind the mountain but it was flaming/glowing from the moment it entered the atmosphere to behind the mountain beyond the horizon.
