RemarksI was with two of my friends sitting on the back deck, sipping wine, enjoying the stars and the warmth of the evening with no music. That part of the house is facing away from the full moon. I saw it first then had time to tell my two friends to look. They were thrilled to have witnessed this once in a lifetime event. It was so clear and crisp, at first it felt like it was close enough to be some kind of flying fireworks, but there was no sound so it became clear that it was likely a meteor. We had no phones or cameras but in a way that's a good thing because you just can't capture the beauty of it on video. After seeing so many videos of the one in Russia, I knew there could be a follow up sonic boom which did occur about a minute later though it was not very loud.
