Remarks | The trajectory of what I observed seems to conflict with some of the reports I see on the website. What I saw took a more east-west path than the agressive north-south trajectory shown on the site yesterday. Almost didn't report, but felt after reading the CBC article about it, that it was important to add my observations since I had a very good view of this object for most of it's appearance, with pretty ideal viewing conditions. Remarks | Brightness increased steadily for about 3-5 seconds before breaking apart. Multiple pieces fizzled from the main object. Pieces quickly fizzled into darkness as main object reached a peak brightness level. Main object quickly dimmed and dissapeared a few seconds after breaking apart. |
