Remarks | I was watching television and saw the meteor through the sliding glass door of our family room that is behind and to the right of the screen. Unfortunately, I did not see the starting point due to the wall of the family room above the slider. The meteor appeared to track from left to right and from higher to lower as it traveled southeastward away from my location. It was bright initially and then suddenly flared much brighter for a moment (an explosion?), followed by decreased brightness before disappearing. |
