Remarks | The time was probably not 10:00 exactly. We were in our hot tub for 20 mins. More likely before, but close to,10:00. There may have been a sound, but with hot tub jets, I did not hear anything. It looked like an oversized softball. Was very green, but at the back end of the green ball was a part that glowed yellow like fire. What was most amazing is that the full moon was in the east, too. And this was so bright! It seemed to linger in one spot before it snuffed out. Only 2nd meteor I’ve seen up close in 67 years—so cool! |
