I hope what I saw is indeed a fireball as I have seen no reports of a comet a/o asteroid passing thru at that time

when initially caught my eye thought it was an airplane or firework (?) ..then thought I saw an asteroid until further research concluded in what appears to have been a fireball & then it suddenly fragmented & disappeared. From what I recall it was greenish / redish fragmentation.
