RemarksI sensed this fireball in my peripheral vision far above/coming from behind my left shoulder when i came out of the store. I quickly looked up above me and watched it for 1-2 seconds streak in a wide arc forward from the darker sky above me into still light horizon. Like someone had launched a catapult from far behind me. The sun had just set and no stars were visible yet but the crescent moon had risen. It was quite beautiful! The streak left a very brief light yellow trail like someone had made a wide arcing disappearing brushstroke.
