Remarks | From my viewing point Cassiopeia was about a fist (15 degrees?) or two ABOVE the end point of this meteor/shooting star and a little to the east. I think the big dipper was to the left and below the horizon of where I was standing and the shooting star was above the big dipper's bowl. It was very bright, large, and short. Maybe the same brightness as Mars but much bigger! It appeared and disappears so quick my husband couldn't turn around quick enough to see it standing right near me. God is so good in His gifts to us through creation! |
