Experience Level2/5
RemarksFairly clear night in Oakland California. It was very low on the horizon. It was sighted just after I saw a small fast moving object moving straight down in the vicinity of Mars in the East (approx 45deg from the horizon to about 30 deg) i don't know if they where related. (They seemed to be on a different trajectory) The first object was sighted about 2 to 3 seconds before the main one. Might have been a coincidence? The first object was not anywhere near as bright and did not appear to move as fast as the main object but was moving much faster than airplane would be. It was bluish white in color.
