Remarks | Traveling on Hwy 41N almost to I10 when I saw a huge fireball streak across the sky at 6:50pm. Looked as if it came in around Jax FL headed NW to what I assumed to be maybe as far away as Albany, Ga, but saw reports where people in Hayden and Clanton AL also saw a fireball around the same time, so it could be one and the same. It traveled in my eyesight (headed due North) from 2 o'clock position EAST to about 10-11 o'clock WEST. Not much arc to it until towards the end. ~penney |
