Experience Level1/5
RemarksWe were sitting in our yard facing southeast and at about 8:20 p.m. to the right of us a very bright round about 5" round went straight by us. We first noticed it with our peripheral vision and it looked like it came straight through our neighbor's tree. It did not seem to be going super fast as we were able to really see it. As it was passing it had a haze around the light. It seemed so close and low that if we were in our neighbor's yard you could touch it. It was amazing and I will never forget what we saw. My husband has a little experience in astronomy and he thinks it was meteor but when I started to look it up he is not sure what it was. I hope that this helps in finding out what this object of light was.
