Experience Level3/5
RemarksI am a photographer with some astralphotograpy experience (night sky, moon, stars). I was with another person who saw exactly the same thing. We were setting up to photograph Comet Neowise and actually looking at the comet. It looked as if the bolide meteor came right from the comet. Direction was from NW (to left of the bucket of the Big Dipper). It was heading N then East when it fizzled out. It came very close to us - felt like it was only 20’ away. I would describe it as a fiery ball with a long fiery tail. It was totally silent.
