RemarksI have seen only one other fireball that has persisted this long, so it was a truly remarkable sight! I was observing the Comet Neowise when I noticed the fireball fade in and distinguish itself from the darker, star speckled westerly skies. It proceeded to cross my view, had a few smaller pieces break off, and slowly lost its orange glow as it soared east.

RemarksThe main glowing mass had a few chunks break off when it passed my central field of view. The main mass kept glowing and shooting across the sky well after the smaller broken-off chunks had faded.
