RemarksThis was a very large fireball that filled up about a degree of sky and was very bright. We were driving due north on Hwy 38 right after rounding the corner from Hwy E, and were coming up a hill. It dropped down below the horizon a few degrees left of due north, but started a few degrees right of due north. It might have started higher, but we were in our car probably going up at about a 5 degree slope at the time of the sighting. Both me and my wife saw the fireball and it was one of the best I had seen in years. It looked like it might have hit the ground or was very far north from our perspective.
