RemarksThis was huge - it reminded me of the meteor that occurred in Russia years ago - it has that same speed and brightness - probably not as big but given that the sun was rising and then this was so bright it was simply amazing. It was traveling very fast and was so far away. From my vantage point in Ipswich, MA, I was looking out over the ocean toward Boston. I was on the phone and had just turned and was facing the sea view when as I turned the fireball was already in motion - I didn't see the very beginning of it. I was on the phone with my brother and exclaimed my surprise right away.

RemarksI took a photo as soon as I possibly could - I just saw a hugely bright object falling from the sky plummeting down toward the earth at a 30 to 40 degree angle. It was way in the distance as you can see from the photo - the cloud or trail it left lasted a good five minutes - I had to grab my coat and get outside and took the photo then. I tried taking one right away from inside but it was very poor quality and then I went outside and took a photo of the after effects which you can see.
