RemarksWe live on a hill and are within a few miles of the airport to the north of us. We regularly see planes land and take off. This fireball appeared to be between us and the airport and about 10 times the size of the planes' lights or about equal to the size of a full moon high in the sky.

RemarksThe fireball was huge and had a long tail. Half way across the sky, large chunks started flying off until it got really small and disintegrated. All of the fragments scattered out from the trajectory and burned themselves out.
