Remarks | It looked low. At first I thought it was a plane on fire. It was headed towards the the direction of a nearby airport. Then just abruptly flamed out. That's when I realized it was a meteor. And the following morning, 11/12/19, it was widely reported on the local news with video. All said it was a meteor. The video on the news is the same as what I saw except news reports said it was flying east to west. However, I was facing due east and it flew past heading from the west heading east. |
