RemarksThe meteor decreased rapidly in brightness then flared brighter before rapidly dimming and ending. There were some whips of high thin cloud through which it was visible. The time is approximate as we did not have watches and three of four people in the group (in a hot-tub) saw the trail and agree that it was more than a usual meteor sighting.
