Remarksreally cool, a bright fireball of light suddenly appeared directly in front of me as I was driving and it quickly fell vertically downward toward the horizon and disappeared, possibly behind a pine tree when last seen, but more likely the horizon (mountain range). So couldn't hear anything since we were inside our car with the windows rolled up. We had just parked and viewed the stars about 2 minutes earlier before this sighting.
