RemarksBefore the meteor entered my view, the sky began flashing exactly the way lightning looks and caught my immediate attention. Then it became a glow and steadily increased to a glow a little brighter than that of the full moon. As for my precise viewing angle... Imagine if you were looking right-hand out an open window you were slightly leaning out of at the farthest lefthand corner of a house. The lightning-like flashes lit up the whole sky in my field of view. I've seen several metors in my life... Not looking for them... Just lucky I guess, but this one was by FAR the biggest.

Terminal flash
ObservationYes
RemarksAfter it first entered my view, it grew larger and flickered a couple times, the first time being about 1/4 (one quarter) of the way through the time I physically saw it. At just over half way there was a super bright flash and then it broke apart into 2 or 3 parts. I'm pretty sure it was 3 with the smallest piece ending up in the front of them.
