RemarksI was driving on the interstate when I saw it, so the location, time, and angles are rough approximations. A passenger dropped a pin on google maps about a minute afterwards, so the location should be accurate within a mile or two. I forgot to check the time, so it is probably only accurate within +/-15 minutes or so. I did not catch the full event, but instead turned my head to see the green light streaking downwards. I do not know how far above the horizon it was when it became visible before I saw it. I initially thought it was a firework of some sort, and this is still a possibility, but it seemed faster, brighter, and farther away than a firework could plausibly be. In addition, the color (whitish/bluish green) seemed more similar to what I had previously seen in bright shooting stars than to any firework.
