RemarksI literally caught this possible fireball at the tail end of it's appearance. I had just merged onto a highway from an entrance ramp in my car. So I was facing more or less north. I saw to my left a bright light streaking to the WNW about 35-40 degrees above the horizon and moving fast, and it seemed as if it were horizontal in flight. Within 1 second of my view time it shedded a piece and all of it faded from view.
