RemarksI have seen many shooting stars before and this was brighter and lasted long than a shooting star. It almost looked like a green firework being sent up in the wrong direction (sideways, slightly down) instead of vertical. I saw it as I was driving on the freeway so my approximations of distance, viewing angle, etc are less reliable than I would hope. I can't believe how bright it was or that I saw it at all considering how much light pollution is around that area.
