Remarks | I do try to watch when I can. This fireball was larger and brighter than anything I’ve seen with Perseids, Pleiades, or other annual events. The subsequent smoke trail was an added surprise, I wasn’t even sure I was seeing what I was seeing, until I pointed out the trail to my husband, who is a pilot. He’d never seen anything like it. |

Remarks | it was moving in a lateral direction, like one very long side of a formation of migrating geese. A smoke trail, almost cloud-like but it didn’t dissipate like a cloud would have, if it had been a cloud. |
