Remarks | I found some of the questions about brightness and angles difficult to gauge as the event was very brief and I was out running at the time (by that point walking, and panting heavily!). |

Remarks | So after the initial burn there was a trail of burning debris that lasted maybe a second or so. It was very akin to the images of the unfortunate space shuttle Columbia when she re-entered, with several small burning chunks trailing behind the main portion. |
Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | So after the initial burn had died and just as the trailing debris was starting to disappear, there was a second quick flash further down range, like a light blinking once, as if the main chunk had reignited briefly. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | After the inital burn there was maybe a second or two of additional burning debris trailing behind that gradually died away. It was composed of smaller chunks, breaking apart. |
