Not of importance but I was sitting in my car in front of my father's house immediately after finding out he had died. My Dad and I collected meteorite fragments together when I was little. Seeing this meant something to me. I watch the skies all the time but I have never seen a fireball (lots of high-up falling stars but nothing like this). My boyfriend was with me and saw it as well.

YES! It came down as one then there was an explosion and a small piece "broke off" and shot sideways to the right of the comet then fell in its own trajectory.
