It was a truly remarkable experience. I’ve never seen anything like it in 40 years. Looking at data from elsewhere I would say the initial trajectory into atmo began a bit further west than what I’ve seen.

It definitely shed smaller pieces as it progressed east. The main core continued pushing east while fragments seemed to burn up.
