Remarks | Did not actually see the fireball, only a huge, very bright and long lasting flash of light out the skylight that also lit up the edge of the ceiling. We had just come inside from observing the night sky with telescope ( looking at Jupiter) and had seen a number of large meteors. House is in a very dark area, nearest neighbors are a mile away, far from any light pollution, so unlikely to be human made light flash. No sound was observed. Wish I had seen it! |
