RemarksObserved in or near the constellation Cygnus, which was partly obscured by light clouds (thick enough to make Vega invisible). In spite of the cloud the meteor still appeared spectacularly bright. Due to the cloud it was impossible to see whether or not a vapour trail was left behind.
