Remarks | I just happened to be facing my bedroom window. I regularly watch airplanes coming in low, with their flashing lights, way way over in the left field of my vision. My map directions were hard to fo. I was looking about ESE. This meteor stared near the middle,& zoomed quickly almost all the way to the right. NO slow flashing lights, like a plane. In August, I've watched Persieds in past yrs, so I know it's only a few seconds, as was this. I'm thrilled to have seen it. Not like the Russian meteor, but still fascinating. |
