Remarks | This fireball had a short fiery tail. Both disappeared simultaneously after perhaps 2 secs. I was in my car, having stopped at the intersection. The fireball appeared in the sky in front of me through the right windshield. My background: 32 years at Boston's Charles Hayden Planetarium and before that Observer, IGY Satellite Tracking Program (1957-58). |
